Learnings

01. Be onboarded by reading documents
Designing for enterprise HR tool is something completely new to me, but I've found it super helpful to read through product roadmap and planning documents to see where the team is heading towards.
02. Componentize things
One of my biggest takeaways from the internship is to incorporate Figma components into the design process. This makes exploring different card states and tweaking the design variants super efficient (Shout out to Devon for countless guidance).
03. Navigate ambiguous situations by constantly asking for feedback
Both internship projects had vague requirements and were in a complex space. I've learned that it was really helpful by constantly asking feedback from stakeholders— customers, teammates, and cross-functional partners. This helped drive the project forward and find clarity.
